Former Capitals and Hershey Bears defenseman Steve Oleksy had his day with the Stanley Cup, Monday. Oleksy brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Macomb, Michigan. Oleksy made stops to his hometown baseball field at L’Anse Creuse North High School and his hometown skating rink, Mount Clemens Ice Arena.
Later, Oleksy posed for a photo with the original bad boy himself, former Detroit Piston and NBA champion Rick Mahorn.

While Binky did not technically play in a single game for the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, he was called up multiple times throughout the year as insurance and was a Black Ace during the Penguins’ playoff run. We even have photographic proof.
Oleksy got to on the ice during the Penguins celebration with the Stanley Cup and took photos with Cuba Gooding, Jr.. His first sip of alcohol ever was that night out of the Stanley Cup.
Oleksy re-signed with Pittsburgh over the offseason.
